Something I often did in my series of articles over the years <a href=\"http:\/\/www.feedingedge.co.uk\/blog\/writing\/\" target=\"_blank\">in Flush Magazine<\/a><br \/>\nSo with the current rush of Virtual Reality gaming and experiences and the slew of new kit we have some very interesting near off the shelf kit such as this.<br \/>\n*warning it contains violence (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.feedingedge.co.uk\/blog\/2015\/04\/02\/kidsvideo-games-parents-and-ratings\/\" target=\"_blank\">see where I am on that here<\/a>)<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QZEnjwUqc4M?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nHowever, back in the 90&#8217;s we had VR kit like Virtuality (they must be kicking themselves for be too early for the masses. Though thats a curse us early adopters and evangelists have to live with \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SP8wSw4bBuA?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nThe headsets were quite heavy and the container you stood or sat in was not a treadmill but part of the sensing rig.<br \/>\nThe graphics may look old fashioned and clunky but they were good experiences. When I was at poly\/uni in Leicester getting ready to do a year out this was the company I wanted to go and work for if I had a chance too. They sent to me IBM instead. Though as you can see from the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Virtuality_(gaming)\" target=\"_blank\">Virtuality company details<\/a> they had very close ties with IBM.
