Fascinating insight, your concept of interoperability between objects and not just platforms. That capability would truly allow wonderful mashups and utilization of the best immersive content, regardless the platform or world.

@Gina It was certainly powered by the fact that we all do things and have similar stories to share, strength in numbers. As for getting back into the UK well us Metaverse Rock Stars have our own channel that we are whisked through before being taken to our Limo’s. Turns out there was a mix up and well I had to let Bono have the car and drove myself home though.

Thanks for this great (and very thorough) write up of the conference! I enjoyed the mix of top notch information-social exchange- actually getting to meet everyone live-and even the slightly heated debate over terminology and other minor issues. It kept this conference lively and engaging. Not only were the case studies shared, very helpful for understanding what works and how to sell it to C-Level members, but I loved the diverse applications and got so many wonderful ideas of how to break down the corporate training walls even further to add more creativity. I hope you made it back home without too much hassle from immigration after they heard you were ePredator, the Metaverse Evangelist!

Great write-up, Ian. I too thought it was a great conference with a lot of good information exchange both from the stage and the Twitter back-channel. One more component that I appreciated was the infomercials that Tony allowed at the beginning of each session. One or two vendors displaying on the floor would get up on stage and tell us about their service or product in just 3-5 minutes. Who knew there are already law firms specializing in virtual issues?
